Therapy

How therapy can help

The therapies I offer have been systematically studied and shown to improve quality of life by reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and problem behaviors.  These therapies are goal-oriented and short-term.  We will work together to help you change the way you think, feel, and act, and we will do so at a pace that feels comfortable for you.  Along the way, we'll use research-validated questionnaires selected for your presenting concerns to track progress.  It can be challenging work, but you will carry the benefits with you even after therapy ends.

Types of therapies offered

How therapy works

The first two sessions would be an initial evaluation period.  The purpose of these sessions is to:

(a) make sure I can offer the services I believe you need

(b) ensure that you all feel comfortable moving forward with me.

In-person or video

As of January 2024, I'm offering therapy services in-person or via video.
